The one and only, Grammy Award-winning Herbie Hancock graced the Kettlehouse Amphitheatre's stage with his jazzy presence on Monday, Sept 20, 2021. There was nothing about the show that disappointed anyone in the crowd. The musicianship of Herbie's band was phenomenal as well as Herbie's own playing. The band seared through super hot versions of many of Hancock's classics with true soul and spirit. For a Montana crowd on a cold September night, the 81-year-old Hancock left it all on the stage and the crowd still wanted more. Perhaps we will see Herbie Hancock again next summer, maybe in July or August when the band can stay a bit warmer.
