Imagine a Cowboy Xmas...

Tuesday Dec. 1st, 2015

Imagine a morning during the Christmas season where family and friends come together to enjoy the spirit of Christmas in a setting dating back to an earlier century.

Imagine walking into the awesome foyer of the elegant, historic Gallatin Gateway Inn feasting your eyes on the magnificent decorations and hearing the lovely live Christmas music.

Imagine seeing the “old fashion Santa” waiting to meet your children.
Imagine your child’s face as they see the festive horse drawn wagon, not one horse, many horses, waiting to scoot them away for a brief, yet wonderful, magical ride in this winter wonderland we call Montana.

Imagine enjoying a delightful “cowboy” breakfast of biscuits and gravy, pastries, breads, and fruit, and not having to cook or clean up the mess!

Your imagination comes true at the annual Cowboy Christmas on December 12th, from 9am-12pm at the famous Gallatin Gateway Inn. (Yes, at the Inn! The Yellowstone Club, currently leasing the Inn, is partnering with us to offer this special morning!)

The event is hosted by Gateway Youth Group, (GYG), a non-profit serving youth in the community of Gallatin Gateway.  GYG provides youth programs and opportunities, primarily focused in the area of environment and conservation, to teach and to facilitate community involvement and support. The organization’s long-term goal is to help youth develop the necessary tools, skills, confidence and attitudes that will help them to lead fulfilling lives and have a positive impact on their family, community, and society.

For the past four years local families have come to share the Christmas spirit with friends and family at Cowboy Christmas. You can make it a new family tradition starting this year.

“We hope you join us. The setting is amazing. Santa awaits each child with a special gift. The horse drawn sleigh is magical for the children. See you on the 12th. Breakfast will be waiting!” says Martha Joh Reeder, Executive Director for Gateway Youth Group, “We have such fun with this event each year.”

Tickets are sold in advance at www.gatewayyouthgroup.org. Tickets at the door are available on a space available only. Space is limited, purchase early. Tickets are $4 for ages 2-5 and $6 for ages 6 and up. Nostalgic pictures with Santa are available for $20. When you log on to purchase tickets you select your breakfast time.   Seating is every 30 minutes. But, there is plenty to see, hear, and enjoy before and after breakfast.

For more information about the organization and to order your tickets for Cowboy Christmas Breakfast, call Martha Joh at 582-8667.
