Bob Wayne & Outlaw Carnies, The Lil’ Smokies / The Kitchen Dwellers at the Eagle’s Bar

Brian Ripple  |   Friday May. 1st, 2015

After a long hard run, down the roads across this land. Bob Wayne gathered up some outlaws, and they formed themselves a band. Now every day is different, every player every show. Will you see a bearded lady? Unless you go, you'll never know. So come one, yeah, come all. When this ho down comes around. Who know's, you could be an outlaw too! Lettin' out that carnie sound.

Don’t miss your chance to see Bob Wayne and the Outlaw Carnies as they rip through Bozeman May 2 for a stop at the Eagle’s upgraded ballroom. Tix are $12 advance at Cactus and $15 at the door.

Hailing from the utopian garden city of Missoula, MT, The Lil’ Smokies exploded onto the progressive bluegrass scene in the winter of 2009 and haven’t shown any signs of fatigue since. Sharing the stage with heavyweights like Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Keller Williams, Greensky Bluegrass, The Emmit-Nershi Band, Yonder Mountain String Band, The Travellin’ McCourys, Sam Bush Band, Fruition, Infamous Stringdusters, Bradford Lee Folk and The Bluegrass Playboys, and dozens of others, The Lil’ Smokies have no problem captivating large audiences. With a unique blend of traditional bluegrass, newgrass, unique original compositions, and sheer raw energy, The Lil’ Smokies weave seamlessly through genres, leaving something for everyone.

The Lil’ Smokies will be at the Eagle’s ballroom on May 9th, with Bozeman’s breakout bluegrass sensation The Kitchen Dwellers supporting the show. This is graduation night for MSU and promises to be a time to remember.
