BOZEMAN - Bozeman School District No. 7 (BSD7), in partnership with the Bozeman Schools Foundation, is proud to announce the launch of a new scholarship program designed to support local students pursuing careers in education and strengthen the future of teaching in Bozeman schools.

Beginning in 2026, the program will award two or more renewable scholarships each year to graduating BSD7 high school students who intend to pursue a degree in education and return to teach in BSD7 schools. Each scholarship provides $5,000 per year for four consecutive years, totaling $20,000 per recipient, to support post-secondary education and training. By investing directly in students who are rooted in the community, the partnership aims to grow and retain a strong, committed local educator workforce.

“The TEACH Bozeman Pathway Program is opening doors for local students who dream of becoming educators,” said Karl Schwartz, Career Outreach Coordinator for Bozeman Public Schools. “By partnering with the Bozeman Schools Foundation on multi-year scholarships, we’re investing in students’ futures and growing the next generation of teachers right here at home.”

The scholarships will offer meaningful financial support throughout a student’s post-secondary journey, helping reduce barriers for those called to the teaching profession. The Bozeman Schools Foundation will oversee the application and selection process, convening and continuing to connect Teach Bozeman scholarship recipients throughout their education.
