Livingston, MT —  Live From The Divide announced today that, beginning February 1, it will relocate its live music operations to the historic Empire Theatre in Livingston, marking a new chapter for the Montana-born concert series.

The move consolidates Live From The Divide’s production, programming, and performance footprint into one of the region’s most iconic venues—allowing for expanded technical capability, increased audience capacity, and a more immersive live music experience for artists and audiences alike.

“Live From The Divide has always been about creating meaningful, high-quality live music experiences rooted in place,” said founder Jason Wickens. “The Empire Theatre gives us the infrastructure and atmosphere to grow intentionally—without losing the intimacy and authenticity that defines what we do.”

Built in 1919, the Empire Theatre is a cornerstone of downtown Livingston and has undergone thoughtful restoration to support modern live performance while preserving its historic character. The venue’s layout, acoustics, and central location make it a natural home for Live From The Divide’s evolving slate of concerts, artist residencies, and special events.

Live From The Divide’s live music programming will operate alongside and complementary to the Empire Theatre’s longstanding film and community programming and will not replace or disrupt the theatre’s legacy offerings. The collaboration is designed to expand creative use of the space while preserving the Empire’s role as a cultural cornerstone for Livingston.

All previously announced shows will continue as scheduled unless otherwise communicated directly to ticket holders. Future programming announcements beginning February 1 will reflect the new location at the Empire Theatre.

The relocation also creates new opportunities for expanded partnerships, community engagement, and multi-night programming as Live From The Divide continues its mission of bringing nationally recognized and emerging artists to southwest Montana.
