BOZEMAN - The Montana Commissioner of Securities and Insurance and the Gallatin County Attorney’s Office concluded a three-week jury trial against Michael Rabb, Esq., in Gallatin County District Court. After hearing the evidence and arguments, the jury returned verdicts of not guilty.

Bozeman attorney Herman Watson defended Rabb along with California-based criminal defense and marijuana lawyer Jeremy Delicino. Missoula trial lawyer Adam Duerk and Gallatin County Attorney Audrey Cromwell acted as lead counsel for the prosecution.

The Gallatin County Attorney’s Office respects the jury’s verdict and thanks the jurors for their time, attention, and service. Jury service is one of the most important public service roles in our justice system. Jurors are asked to put aside their personal lives, listen carefully to the evidence presented by both sides, follow the law as instructed by the court, and reach a unanimous decision. Their work is essential to ensuring fairness, accountability, and public confidence in the rule of law.

“This case underscores why the jury system is such a cornerstone of our democracy,” said Gallatin County Attorney Audrey Cromwell.

“Twelve community members devoted weeks of their lives to carefully evaluating the evidence and applying the law as instructed. We are grateful for their diligence and their service.”

The charges in this case were brought following an investigation and were presented to a jury through the adversarial process required by law. The jury’s verdict brings the matter to a close.
