HRDC is calling on all residents of Gallatin, Park, and Meagher Counties to complete its 2025 Community Needs Assessment before it closes on Monday, April 28. The survey takes just a few minutes and will help determine the most pressing needs in our communities over the next three years.

This year’s Community Needs Assessment is especially important. For the first time, all Community Action Agencies across Montana are working together on a unified process to better understand challenges and opportunities statewide. Locally, HRDC uses this input to shape programs, develop new partnerships, advocate for community-based policies, and ensure resources are aligned with what residents truly need.

Anyone who lives or works in Montana is encouraged to participate. All survey responses are anonymous, and participants will be entered into a drawing to win a $50 gift card.

The Community Needs Assessment marks the first phase in HRDC’s strategic planning process. Insights from the survey guide every part of the HRDC’s work, from community housing and food access to transportation, early childhood services, and beyond. To build a community where everybody can thrive, HRDC needs to hear directly from those who live and work here.
