What If I Fall? Oh, But My Darling, What If You Fly?
Freedom, flying, and being yourself are the reasons behind this cover art. The Moon Jumpers Series asks viewers to reach for the stars and jump for their dreams.
If imagination is more important than intelligence—as Mr. Einstein once said—then Ebbie was blessed from the start. From childhood, creating and making things has been her instinctive way of moving through the world. Art has always been her language, and through both painting and photography, she tells a story—rich with meaning, emotion, and experience.
Ebbie’s roots are grounded in the western way of life, shaped by her upbringing on a Montana ranch. With a Bachelor of Science in art and science education, she spent years teaching and raising a family before turning fully toward her artistic path.
Her work is a reflection of a life lived with intention—bold, vibrant, and sometimes sensual, echoing both the rugged terrain and quiet beauty of the landscapes around her. Spring and summer take her outdoors, where she captures the grace of horses and the rhythm of nature through her lens. She loves to freeze those fleeting moments in time and turn them into Fotographic artistry—whether it’s a glowing family portrait, a tender engagement, or the delicate wonder of a newborn. Ebbie doesn’t just take pictures—she creates visual stories.
When the seasons turn cold, she steps into the warmth of her studio, where large white canvases invite her imagination to run wild. Her mixed media pieces often contain seven or more layers—paint, pastels, old book pages, charcoal, cattle markers, and a signature blend of beeswax and damar resin. Her current series, Circles of Life explores the cycles and seasons of existence—rising from adversity, choosing joy, and embracing grace. Like the dancing horses in her paintings, her subjects are full of motion, meaning, and spirit.
Whether viewed from across a room or up close, Ebbie’s work invites connection. Layered with mystery and metaphor, each piece is a reflection of her journey—one that continues to evolve with every photograph taken and every brushstroke laid.
