Just a one block walk from Main Street, Taproom is downtown to its core.
The food menu at Bozeman Taproom is filled with exciting twists and turns. Starting off strong are the much talked about Curry Fries. This recipe, originally used at the old Bacchus Pub, found its revival at the Taproom, where it remains just as delicious as it always was, with a hint of classic Bozeman for everyone to enjoy. From here, go-to favorites like burgers and salads are available, but unique items such as the Gyro or Fish and Chips add a special touch for those looking to try something different. Other features such as the blackened chicken Caesar wrap, or the Cajun mac and cheese are great options for something new.
With over 50 beers on tap, the selection at the Taproom is unbeatable. They carry beers from all over the state, region, and nation. Although they proudly support local brews, they don’t shy away from unique and individual beer options, aiming to satisfy all their guests. With the addition of their liquor license, they now provide incredibly well-crafted cocktails and wines for those interested. the Taproom always rises to the occasion, providing guests with exactly what they want or need.
Featuring local beer and craft cocktails, the Taproom also boasts an unbeatable happy hour. Sunday through Thursday, from 3 pm to 6 pm, and again from 9 pm to close, guests can try select drink specials and appetizer deals like no other in town. From espresso martinis to a spicy margarita, the seasonal drink specials always pair perfectly with the Taproom vibe. With ample screens and different stations, sports fans are sure to never miss a moment while indulging. Shareable plates are the perfect option for game days, and really bring guests together, with options for every taste and style. For really competitive guests, the PacMan table awaits. Here, you can play nonstop games of Pacman throughout the night, challenging anyone you dare, while still eating and drinking to your heart’s content.
A big supporter of the Bozeman art scene, the Taproom schedules live music with local bands throughout the month, and typically offers an open mic night every Thursday, allowing lesser known artists to get on stage and share their songs. Their Friday features include the likes of Jacob Rountree, Brendon Nolan, Peyton Walker, and more. Bozeman support shines in other ways throughout the Taproom too. The stickers covering most metal surfaces in the bar are mostly Montana centered. Ski gear and sports memorabilia adorns the remaining surfaces, giving the bar a comfortable Montana feel.
A highlight of the Taproom is the coveted rooftop bar. On a warm afternoon, no matter the season, the rooftop bar awaits, allowing guests to enjoy mountain views and sunshine. Up just a short flight of stairs, the bar opens up to reveal plenty of comfortable seating options, and a relaxed vibe. Sun paired with shade or a shandy paired with a snack, this is one of the best downtown places to enjoy a cold beer. If you find the rooftop full upon your arrival, there is always plenty of seating throughout the main bar area. Here, on hot summer days, the garage doors open up for select sidewalk seats and allowing a cool breeze to blow through the bar. With such short Montana summers, we all appreciate as much fresh air and sunshine as possible, and the Taproom offers plenty of each.
On top of all the amazing physical features the Taproom has to offer, the wonderful staff is not to be forgotten. Smiling faces and fast service are always a guarantee, and you are sure to see a familiar face upon your arrival. With perfect drink suggestions and delicious food recommendations, the Taproom servers and bartenders are some of the most energetic in town. Whether you are seated at the rooftop bar or downstairs, you are sure to be taken care of.
If you are hoping to catch the game, catch up with friends, or just catch some much needed sun, the Taproom has got you covered on all three. Stop by anytime from 11 am to midnight for a perfect downtown outing with good drinks, great food, and even better vibes.
