Record Store Day 4.18.15

Brian Ripple  |   Wednesday Apr. 1st, 2015

One of Cactus Records (29 W Main St, Bozeman)  favorite days of the year is Record Store Day. This is a day to celebrate what local independent record stores are all about: records and new music. And in Cactus Record’s case concert tickets, humorous gift cards and gifts, unique Montana clothing, and bumper stickers, both new and used vinyl and cds, local release music, incense and much more.
Managed by the Department of Record Stores and organized in partnership with the Alliance of Independent Media Stores (AIMS), the Coalition of Independent Music Stores (CIMS) Record Store Day celebrates the culture of independent record stores by playing host to in-store events/performances, signings and special product releases on a global scale.

Cactus Records owner Bueno has several in-store performances planned for the day including Bearcat 9000, Dillinger Steel, and several more TBA.

If it has been a while since you stopped in and saw Bueno and the gang, Record Store Day on April 18 is the perfect time to get reacquainted with this great place that helps keep Downtown Bozeman what it is and has been since a long time ago, truly unique.
