TEDxBozeman is Now Accepting Applications for Speakers and Performers for the 2014 Event
Friday Oct. 25th, 2013
Now in its third year, the highly successful TEDxBozeman event has begun accepting applications from those interested in performing or giving talks this March.
An independently-organized event licensed by TED, TEDxBozeman showcases some of Montana’s most impressive creative minds. Past speakers have included a diverse group of individuals ranging from musicians, business people, teachers, researchers, and humanitarians.
TEDxBozeman was the inaugural TEDx event in Montana and sold out both previous years. It has gained a reputation for excellence in both quality of speakers and a polished presentation. After being featured in WIRED Magazine’s December 2012 issue, TEDxBozeman grew to over 500 attendees for its 2013 event last Spring.
“The TEDxBozeman team and I are looking forward to reviewing another group of highly qualified applicants for the 2014 event. The talent pool that Montana has to offer seems virtually boundless,” said Co-Founder Ken Fichtler.
“After receiving over 65 applications from prospective speakers and performers last year, we anticipate it will be another challenging decision and competitive process,” added Brooke Draves, TEDxBozeman’s License Holder.
The application period begins September 20th and will remain open through October 20th. Those interested in applying or getting more information may visit www.tedxbozeman.com and are encouraged to visit www.youtube.com/tedxbozeman to sample talks from previous years.
TEDxBozeman 2014 will be held the third week in March. Location, theme, and ticket information for the event will be announced at a later date. Stay up to date by following TEDxBozeman on Facebook or Twitter.
