Mountain Biking now open at Big Sky

Resort offering the area’s only lift accessible downhill trails from the Swift Current chairlift in the
Mountain Village. The chairlift operates from 10:00am – 3:30pm every day, weather permitting.
Majority of the resort’s 15 mountain bike trails will be open, although Tango Trees and
Nameless trails will be closed due to early conditions. “The bike crew has been putting in some
hours to make sure the trails are rolling solid after a long winter” said Dylan Hall, Retail Manager
of Different Spokes Bike Shop. The popular Sole Hole trail is ready and waiting for riders.
Different Spokes Bike Shop, in the Mountain Village, has a brand new fleet of Specialized
Status 2 full suspension downhill bikes for rent. Cross-country bikes and protective equipment
are also available for rent.

All of Big Sky’s lift accessed mountain biking are intermediate to advanced downhill trails. Trails
are not patrolled and the terrain is steep and rocky; personal protective equipment is advised. It
is the rider’s responsibility to inspect the terrain and understand the terrain might change due to
weather and use.

The two Andesite Mountain cross-country trails are also open.
