Portion of Over the Tapa’s Proceeds for Twenty-Six Days Will Be Donated to Gallatin Valley Kids’ Charities
Friday Dec. 21st, 2012
Over the Tapas, a restaurant in downtown Bozeman, today announced that to honor the victims of the Newtown, CT shooting tragedy, it will donate a portion of proceeds over the next 26 days to Bozeman-area charities that help support children. After noticing the ’26 Acts of Kindness’ trend sweeping the nation in the wake of the shooting, Over the Tapas decided to complement that trend with their own ’26 Acts of Kindness’ in which they will donate 10% of proceeds from their lunch and dinner specials during that time span to help benefit children.
“Over the Tapas is honored to be a part of a community such as Bozeman that places emphasis on bettering the lives of our kids via various programs and organizations as well as great education,” said Mark Bohnemann, Owner/Managing Partner at Over the Tapas. “Our hearts are breaking for the victims of the Newtown tragedy and this is one small way in which we can honor the memories of the children and adults affected by the shooting.”
