Grand Re-Opening. Free iPad! $25 Nationwide Plans All at iWireless/Cellular One
Saturday Jun. 30th, 2012
Over the past couple months, you might’ve noticed the crisp, red coats of paint being applied to the angular building at the corner of 5th and Main in Bozeman. You might’ve even noticed the tall guy up on ladders applying those very same coats of paint.
Well, that guy would be Kevin, the owner of iWireless/Cellular One. This isn’t a new business, mind you. Heck, Kevin’s been getting people going with unlocked iPhones and more in Bozeman for years. No, this established business has simply relocated from its prior spot next to Aspen Motors and the Co-Op. The new storefront’s visibility is great. The parking is terrific. And with two hands and a lot of elbow grease, the store itself has been completely revamped inside out and out, including new carpet, fresh paint everywhere, and cork countertops.
To celebrate all this, Kevin and iWireless are holding a Grand Re-Opening beginning July 20th. Stop by 411 West Main to enter for your chance to even win an iPad! There will also be a weekly drawing for a $20 Visa gift card. Highlights of the whole event include:*
The iWireless office is all about being local and specialized. Never before have you entered such an inviting atmosphere; and it is a cellular phone store. It is rather a cellular phone studio. An old wood door is the desk top and the backdrop for a phone display. Wood and antiques fill the space. Fun colors dot the walls and jazz music plays in the background. The store is also “green” — Montana wood, Montana furnishings, salvaged materials, and energy efficient lighting and products. The lime green chair across from Kevin’s desk is perfect for a conversation about cellular phones, the technical stuff of phones, and what iWireless can offer that others cannot.
As with other small business owners in any industry, Kevin and iWireless are committed to going above and beyond many experiences of the big box stores. And this often translates directly to more cash in your wallet. So Kev’s willing to give cash back out of his own pocket, willing to pay referral fees, willing to discount phones and accessories, and more.
iWireless is an authorized dealer for Cellular One, which used to be Chinook Wireless. Cellular One uses GSM technology, or SIM cards. SIM cards are basically what the whole world uses — phones are essentially an empty shell, but your phone number, plan, and account are tied to the little “chip,” or SIM card. You don’t like your phone, or when traveling abroad, just swap the SIM card. Bingo. Done. No restrictions and saving money. The customer is in control.
Cellular One is a Montana-based company, but don’t let the western hospitality fool you⦠The carrier has complete, robust nationwide coverage with no roaming charges by piggybacking on towers like AT&T and T-Mobile. Kevin’s iWireless store offers all the Cellular One products, as well, including Androids, BlackBerry’s, free phones, and more, along with assorted-priced plans. He also buys and sells new and used iPhones, iPads, and unlocked SIM card phones, and offers a variety of accessories for all of them. By the by, iWireless is also looking to expand into DirecTV, Century Link, and more.
One of Kevin’s strongest niches is still the unlocked iPhone. “Unlocked” just means the phone isn’t tied to a carrier, so the customer has total freedom! But the phone still requires a SIM card, and that’s where Kevin and iWireless come in. Apple now even sells factory unlocked iPhones, meaning no more software hacking.
Why pay more for your iPhone plan with another carrier and similar coverage? Why be forced to pay for a data plan if you don’t want one?
Stop in and chat with Kevin at the new iWireless store location, 411 West Main just across the street from Willson School and next to the Chinese restaurant, the Bamboo Garden. Get a phone, listen to some great music and relax. Kevin can be reached at 406-595-4519 or www.MontanaiPhones.com.
