The Blue Slipper Theatre, Livingston, Montana, announces an open call for scripts for its 10-Minute Play Festival to be held in May 2012.

Playwrights new and established are invited to send us their best work for the chance to have it produced on our stage.

Scripts should meet the following criteria:

· Run-time of roughly 10 minutes (usually less than ten pages)

· Small cast

· Able to produce with minimal set and props

· Open to all genres of theatre

· Scripts should follow standard play formatting; at the least – one-inch margins, 12-point font, character names in CAPS, stage directions in italics

· Title, name, address, phone and e-mail must appear on first page; title and name must appear on all following pages

· Scripts must be the original work of the submitter (adaptations are acceptable)

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: FRIDAY, APRIL 6, 2012

To submit, attach script as a .doc or .rtf file (NOT .docx!) and e-mail to blueslipper10fest@gmail.com. Or mail two copies to “10-Minute Play Festival, Blue Slipper Theatre, 113 E. Callender, Livingston, MT 59047.”
