Big Sky resort is excited to announce the opening of a fourth and a fifth zipline for the 2010-2011 winter season. The new lines are in the form of a Twin Zip, meaning two people can zip next to each other simultaneously. The Twin Zipline, is approximately 1,500 feet long, more than 3 times the length of Big Sky’s current longest zipline, and runs all the way from Chet’s Knob to Tippy’s Tumble, passing directly over the base area.
“Big Sky’s Zipline has been tremendously popular ever since we opened it in 2009,” said Christine Baker, Big Sky Resort’s Basecamp Programs and Snowsports Children’s Program Manager. “This new Twin Zip is longer and cooler than ever, and I think people are going to love it. It really ups the adventure factor of our Basecamp activities.”
Other winter Basecamp activities set for this winter include Lunar Zipline Trips, tubing in the Tube Park, Bungee Trampoline and Climbing Wall challenges, Guided Snowshoe Tours, Snowcat Rides, and High Ropes Course challenges.
Big Sky Resort offers the longest season in the area, the Lone Peak Tram, and quality terrain, lifts, and grooming. Please join in the excitement and come play at Big Sky this winter season.
