Exhibit: Main Street Building Names

Monday Jan. 24th, 2011

What’s in a name?  Come to the Pioneer Museum and see some of the Main Street buildings with a name emblazoned along the roof line.  Find out the “who” and “what” of the buildings.  The Pioneer Museum, 317 W. Main, has mounted this exhibit on the balcony over the Gallows Room.  Background on each structure accompanies the contemporary photos by Kay McAllister, Photo Archivist.  You are invited to stop by the Pioneer Museum 317 W. Main (next to the courthouse), Tuesday-Saturday, 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.  $5.00 admission. Free to members and children under 12.
