Betty Nason opened the Kountry Korner Café in 1976 following two successful ventures in town; the Butcher Boy In & Out (located across from the High School in what’s now the Starbucks parking lot) and the Drover Café (later became Boodles Restaurant and was lost in the 2009 downtown explosion).
