Learn the basics of throwing pottery on the wheel! Over six weeks, you’ll learn the fundamentals of working on the wheel, including centering, opening, pulling walls, shaping, trimming, and finishing your pieces. Russ will guide you through each step while helping you develop the skills and confidence to continue throwing on your own. No previous pottery experience is required. If you have previous expereience, Russ would be happy to meet you where you are at and go over any techniques you are interested in learning or mastering. Come ready to learn, experiment, and embrace the occasional wonky pot!
