The Inaugural Bozeman Film Festival brings bold independent cinema to Montana October 8–11, 2026. Across four days, films from established and emerging filmmakers are paired with filmmaker Q&As, industry panels, parties, and special events that bring audiences and artists together.

Presented by the Bozeman Film Society, the Festival builds on 48 years of championing independent cinema and creating memorable shared film experiences.

The festival unfolds across three historic downtown venues – the Ellen Theatre, the Rialto Theater, and the Armory Tune Up – with the Opening Night at the Baxter Hotel, a VIP Lounge at the AC Hotel, and our Shake the Marquee festival closing party at the Rialto Theater.
