Montana Wildlife Crossings Living Up to the Landscape

“Living Up to the Montana Landscape” is a statewide speaking and engagement tour designed to spark informed dialogue, inspire, and mobilize collaboration around wildlife crossings and landscape connectivity. The conversation will be lead by a panel of experts, including Breanna Ball of the WYldlife Fund; Lee Spangler of the Western Transportation Institute; Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks; and Montana Department of Transportation. The tour will highlight: The science and engineering behind wildlife crossings The human safety and economic benefits of reducing wildlife-vehicle collisions The policy and funding realities shaping what is possible in the years ahead The role of collaboration — across agencies, universities, NGOs, and communities — in turning opportunity into action
