Bozeman Magazine

The BCSC is tasked with evaluating and determining whether updates or amendments should be recommended to the City Charter, the foundational document that outlines how Bozeman is governed. As part of this process, the BCSC is committed to providing opportunities for public learning and input before a final report is completed later this year.  

As part of its charter review, the BCSC will focus on a different governance topic each month, starting in January with an examination of the role and structure of the City’s mayor.

Community members are highly encouraged to attend meetings in person or watch online and share their perspectives as the BCSC considers potential governance changes. Public participation is a critical component of the charter review process.
