A groundbreaking violist, Kenji was the first student to receive dual degrees in viola and composition from The Juilliard School.

His genre-defying music has been performed on six continents and by over seventy American orchestras. Kenji is joined by his wife Monica Ohuchi on the piano and long time friend and collaborator Angella Ahn. Included in the program is Montana Chamber Music’s first commission – a duo for violin & viola by the extraordinary composer, performed by Angella and Kenji.
