Farm To Crag and Chance Farm will host a full-day event uniting outdoor recreation, hands-on farming, and collaborative food systems work. The Bozeman Farm To Crag Gathering invites participants to move, learn, and engage with the land and community in support of a more equitable and resilient food future. The event is designed to create common ground between recreationists, growers, and changemakers through shared experience. Attendees will spend the day in and around the Gallatin Valley, beginning with time outdoors and culminating in an evening of conversation and celebrationat Chance Farm.
Key highlights include:
● Morning group gravel ride or guided climbing session followed by a locally sourced lunch
● Volunteer farm work, soil health demonstration, and vegetable harvest at Chance Farm
● Chef-led farm-to-table dinner by Charley Graham with live music by Jack and Kia
● Evening panel discussion and interactive workshop on land access, regenerative agriculture, food distribution, and Indigenous food sovereignty
Speakers and panelists represent a diverse cross-section of the food and farming landscape,
including leaders from Montana Farmers Union, Abundant Montana, Open & Local, and Blackfeet Nation food systems advocate Latrice Tatsey.
