They have invited two of the editors (Bob and Evelyn) along with two local Bozeman authors with chapters in the volume (rural sociologist Kristal Jones and journalist/author Todd Wilkinson) to discuss the themes of the book – the myth of the West and the local (unsustainable) impacts that this myth has had both ecologically and socially.

There will be a public panel discussion of the book. Please mark your calendars and encourage your students to come, as it should be an excellent discussion hosted by Dr. Kristen Intemann and the newly minted director of the Doig Center, Dr. Daniel Grant.
