Who are you, and where do you come from? Kendra Potter will work with participants to access origin stories through many different lenses. In this workshop, we will move and come into the body in the moment. Then we’ll take the attention and pour it onto the page. There will be writing prompts, discussion about emergence (both your own and ancestral stories about human origins), and rewriting the narrative of your presence. This is a workshop for everyone: movers, writers, parents, but also people who don’t identify as writers at all. People who write but aren’t movers. Basically, if you have a body you were born into, it’s for you. It’s approachable and intended to open us to new ways of perceiving.
