Join the Bozeman High School “Hawkers” Speech and Debate Team for an evening of inspiring performances and a discussion with Bozeman native and Hawker alum! Judge Sidney R. Thomas, former chief of the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit from 2014 to 2021 and now Senior Circuit Judge. Judge Thomas began his tenure on the Ninth Circuit in 1996 with an appointment by then-President Clinton. Live music, dessert bar, wine and beer cash bar, BIG TICKET RAFFLE! The BHS Hawkers have been state champions three of the last four years with 24 team members qualifying for this year’s Nationals where they will compete against 5,000+ high school students from nearly 2,000 schools across the country! And your donations will support them. All proceeds of the night go toward BHS Hawkers Nationals in June and their summer Hawkers Tanzania Trip where Hawkers deliver a two-week intensive Speech and Debate summer camp for Tanzanian students and teachers.
