Baroque Music Montana presents Somewhere Over the Rainbow
"Somewhere Over the Rainbow" features sonatas by Poulenc and Schubert, "In Memory of a Dear Place" by Tchaikovsky, Barber's Canzone, and Paganini's 24th Caprice arranged by Szymanowksi. Musicians include Bozeman Symphony concertmaster and Juilliard graduate violinist Carrie Krause with MSU award-winning professor of piano, Julie Gosswiller. The duo has presented dozens of social justice and historically themed concerts across Montana, connecting with audiences and students from Lewistown to Lavina to Lockwood and beyond, as well as online broadcasts. Additional performances are March 1-5 in Big Timber, Dillon, and on Montana Chamber Music Society's Noon Notes series at the Bozeman public library. These performances are presented by Baroque Music Montana on the Beyond Baroque series.
Cost: $10/$5 – online or at the door. Free for MSU students and faculty
