MOR's Presenting Prehistory: Horned Dinosaurs with Dr. Brenda Chinnery

"Presenting Prehistory: Dispersal Patterns of Horned Dinosaurs from Asia to North America." Dr. Brenda Chinnery, a research associate at MOR, is investigating the dispersal patterns of horned dinosaurs. Her focus is on the biogeography of ceratopsian dinosaurs. In this updated discussion, she sheds light on the relationships within this group of dinosaurs and the possible paths they could have taken to migrate from Asia, where they originated, to North America, where well-known taxa like Triceratops lived. MOR's Presenting Prehistory: A Paleontology Lecture Series explores recent paleontological findings and current hypotheses as conveyed by scientists who are actively exploring how life on Earth has changed. Discoveries made by paleontologists continue to shed new light on the deep past of the planet and the creatures that arose here. Free and open to the public in the Hager Auditorium. Refreshments will be provided post-lecture during the speaker meet-and-greet.
