MSU MLK Day talk with Irshad Manji

Irshad Manji, the founder of Moral Courage College, which teaches people to turn contentious issues into constructive conversations and healthy teamwork, will engage in a moderated discussion at Montana State University. This event is MSU's 2024 Martin Luther King Day talk. Manji’s talk on Thursday, January 18, will start at 6 p.m. in the Strand Union Building Ballrooms. The event is free and open to all. No tickets are required. The recipient of Oprah's "Chutzpah Award" for boldness, Irshad is also a New York Times bestselling author. Her latest book is Don't Label Me: How to Do Diversity Without Inflaming the Culture Wars. A prize-winning leadership professor at New York University for many years, Irshad now teaches with Oxford University's Initiative for Global Ethics and Human Rights. Free parking is available after 6 p.m. in MSU's outdoor parking lots. Additionally, MSU's parking garage is located near the corner of South Seventh Avenue and Grant Street.
