Spotlight on History: Yellowstone National Park
Join us in exploring the fascinating history behind the creation of the United States' first National Park, Yellowstone. Discover how President Ulysses Grant initiated the preservation of land and its designation as a park back in 1872, setting the standard for all national parks to follow.
Visit the Paugh History Hall to examine the impressive 1930s Ranger Uniform, the Spring Wagon, and Touring Coach, and learn how the National Park Service has evolved over the years. You will also get the chance to experience the unique features of Yellowstone, including hands-on demonstrations of how geysers work.
