Zoo in You Exhibit Opening Family Day 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. During this family-friendly celebration, we will explore the newest special exhibition, Zoo In You: The Human Microbiome. Microbiome Madness: An Improvised Comedy Adventure 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 m. | Hager Auditorium Join the four major microbes on an improvised comedy romp through the human body, courtesy of Last Best Comedy. This family-friendly “Choose-You-Own-Adventure"-style show will incorporate audience suggestions to find out what happens when a bunch of different organisms try to make their home inside the same body. Will good bacteria and bad bacteria ever find harmony? Will a virus attempt to take over, taking the fun out of fungi? You help decide in this all-ages interactive performance. Make-Your-Own Microbe Art Workshop 12:30 – 3:30 p.m. | Redstart Classroom Using fabric and other creative materials, design your very own microbe to take home and add one to the growing communal colony.
