Grab your SUP or kayak and join Mix & Mingle on Labor Day weekend for a singles river float and bbq. We'll meet at the Missouri Headwaters Boat Ramp in Missouri Headwaters State Park at 11am and take out at Fairweather Bridge in Clarkston, MT. This is a four-hour float with constant paddling so plan on being on the river for at least 5 hours with breaks. Pack sunscreen, layers, snacks, lunch and lots of water. After the float, we'll head to a Mix & Mingle member's property in Clarkston (about 15 minutes from the take out) for a BBQ. Burgers, brats, salad, drinks and snacks will be provided. Attendees are welcome to bring a tent to camp on the property overnight. There is a cabin on the property with a fully functional kitchen and bathroom. Please plan on camping overnight if you will be drinking alcohol and don't have a designated driver. We'll have coffee and an easy continental breakfast for those that stay over. Attendees must provide their own kayak or stand up paddle board and should have some experience using them prior to this event. No tubes please unless you are tied to someone with a paddle...it's too hard to keep up with the group otherwise. Rafts are also welcome. Although we all love them, please leave the doggos at home. $30 per person and we'll max it at around 20 people. Grab your ticket at the event link.
