Dee-O-Gee Sacagawea Classic 2023

The Sacagawea Classic is a classic technique only event that draws skiers from the Bozeman community and throughout the Rocky Mountain west for the 30k, 15k, and 5k classic ski races and the 3k and 6k sit ski event. The event is a way for Crosscut to share our incredible trail system with other passionate skiers while gathering together as a community in the winter season to celebrate the sport we love. Whether racers seek grit or grace, effort or leisure, adventure or comfort, we welcome all participants to join in on the fun.

Schedule

Friday 2/10, 4:00pm-8:00pm: Racer Check-in, bib and racer packet pickup at a Bozeman location TBA.
Saturday 2/11
- 7:30am Parking/Facilities Open
- 8:00-8:45am Warm-up Course Open
- 9:00am Races Start. Specific event times to be announced.
All awards will be done at the race site at the conclusion of each race.

Prizes and Gifts

All racers will receive a Sacagawea Classic hat with registration. Overall and Age Group prizes were crafted by local artist and skier, Jo Newhall. Find more of her artwork through Sagebrush Ceramics.
Cash prizes for the overall men’s and women’s 30k podium.

2nd: $250
3rd: $100

Cost: 30 Kilometer Classic; $85 15 Kilometer Classic; $65 5 Kilometer Classic; $35 9 Kilometer sit ski event; $353 Kilometer sit ski event; $35 Kids Race free, must still register prior to Feb 10th to participateThere is no day of race registration
