Wilderness And … How Will Salmonflies be Affected by Climate Change?
Have you noticed changes to the salmon fly hatch on southwest Montana rivers? Are you interested in understanding the impacts of climate change?
Join the Madison-Gallatin Chapter and MGC Wilderness Grant recipient and MSU researcher, Alzada Roche, for a presentation of results from her MGC-funded research project “Cross-boundary temperature regimes and their effect on aquatic insect emergence and survival.”
Roche will present her research at Hope Lutheran Church on Thursday, Oct. 6 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public and light refreshments will be served. The presentation begins at 7 p.m., but we recommend arriving early to socialize with other Wild Montana members and supporters!
