Join us for another amazing night of free Music in the Mountains in Big Sky as we welcome the progressive bluegrass sounds of Fireside Collective to Len Hill Park in the Big Sky Town Center! Opening the show will be Ian Thomas and the Band of Drifters.

A quintet who cheerfully disregard every kind of one-dimensional label that might be attached to their music, Fireside Collective has been on a roll since emerging seven years ago from the fertile roots music scene of Asheville, North Carolina. In quick order, the progressive bluegrass group released its debut album, won the 2016 Band Contest at MerleFest, earned an International Bluegrass Music Association Momentum Band of the Year nomination and embarked on an ambitious touring schedule that’s earned an enthusiastic reception from traditional bluegrass to wide-ranging, eclectic music festival audiences alike.

One of the hottest bands on the jam grass circuit right now, you’ll find the band playing this summer at festivals including Merlefest, Bristol Rhythm and Roots, Blue Ox, Northwest String Summit and Sisters Folk Fest.

The Park opens at 6, music starts at 6:30, headliner will play at 8 p.m. Admission is free! Please, remember that NO DOGS or GLASS CONTAINERS are allowed in the park. Also, this year we are partnering with Bozeman Health and the Big Sky Community Organization to make our events TOBACCO and SMOKE FREE!
