Strong Towns President Charles Marohn Comes to Bozeman
On Monday, we announced the upcoming release of a new book by Strong Towns president, Charles Marohn: Confessions of a Recovering Engineer: Transportation for a Strong Town.
This is the second book in the Strong Towns series and it focuses specifically on transportation. It presents a bold vision for transforming our nation of stroads into places that are safe, prosperous, and financially productive.
We want to bring that book to you. This fall, Charles Marohn will be traveling the country for virtual and in-person events on a Confessions Book Tour, discussing key ideas in the new book and sharing a Strong Towns vision for financially resilient transportation systems.
We’re especially looking forward to getting back to in-person events because there were so many places that wanted to host a Strong America Tour event for our first book, Strong Towns: A Bottom-Up Revolution, but the pandemic cut the tour short.
If you’re interested in a tour stop in your community, let us know today by filling out this form.
We are in the early stages of planning these events and are expecting a lot of demand (we had hundreds of requests last time), so don’t panic if we don’t get back to you right away after filling out the form. We’d like to piece together something that allows us to get to everyone—or at least, nearly everyone—so we can help Strong Towns advocates keep the momentum going in their community.
Looking forward to seeing you all out on the road (or on your computer screens) later this year!
If you haven’t already, don’t forget to preorder the new book too. You can do that on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or Bookshop.
