Imagine if everyone felt welcome outside. We are shifting how we think about Opt Outside. This year, we invite you to reflect on how we can build an inclusive outdoor culture together. The REI Cooperative Action Fund gives everyone a way to support organizations making that happen. The REI Cooperative Action Fund is a community-supported nonprofit, founded by REI Co-op, that directly supports organizations promoting justice, equity, and belonging in the outdoors. Starting 11/18, REI will match every dollar donated to the REI Cooperative Action Fund up to $1 million (and before 12/31/21). That's a total of $2 million going to people and programs making a difference outside.
