Medical Services in Bozeman: Challenges of Serving a Growing Community
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Montana State University will present a panel discussion about “Medical Services in Bozeman: Challenges of Serving a Growing Community” at a November 12 Friday Forum. The event will be delivered online via Zoom from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
Lauren Nowak, Executive Director of Regional Operations for the Billings Clinic, Darci Bentson, Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel at Bozeman Health, and Lander Cooney, Chief Executive Officer at Community Health Partners, will participate in a panel discussion about rapid population growth in the Bozeman area and impacts on the provision of medical services. The medical community is responding to growth through expansion with greater diversity in services and providers. The panel will also discuss the unique challenges created by the pandemic and why understanding these challenges from the perspective of healthcare providers is important for community support.
Participants must register in advance and no later than 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 12. For more information or to register, please visit the OLLI at MSU website at montana.edu/olli/register or call 994-6550. Upon registration confirmation, participants will receive an email with the Zoom link and instructions to join the program.
