Cosy Sheridan Concert
The Bozeman Folklore Society is excited to partner with Pilgrim Congregational Church to present a concert by Cosy Sheridan on Saturday, July 24, on the shady north lawn at Pilgrim.
Cosy Sheridan last played a concert for BFS back in 2013, in the Chris Boyd Room at Pilgrim. She first appeared on the folk scene in 1992 when she won the songwriting contests at the Kerrville Folk Festival and the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. She has been on the road ever since, playing clubs, concert halls, and coffeehouses across the country. Sher continues to be a very prolific songwriter in the folk scene. Backed by the strong rhythms and harmonies of her bass player, Charlie Koch, she plays a percussive bluesy guitar style, often in open tunings and occasionally with two capos on the guitar neck.
The concert will be outdoors on the north lawn, so bring blankets or chairs. The show will start at 7:00 PM, and doors will open at 6:30. Tickets are $20 each at the event. In the event of inclement weather, we will move into the Chris Boyd Room.
Cost: $20
