Made possible by a generous grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, CIRCLE OF RESILIENCE is a recital of vocal works written by Indigenous composers and performed by Indigenous artists. Traditional Native American songs will be performed alongside contemporary opera written by living Indigenous creators, including Emmy Award-winning composer Jerod Tate (Chickasaw) and Canadian playwright and librettist Marie Clements (Métis).

Strict COVID safety precautions will be observed for the in-person audience including mandatory face masks, 6-foot distance between audience groups, and limited seating capacity. Because of capacity limitations, a video recording of the recital will be aired online in June 2021 for those unable to attend in-person.
