Throughout the month of April, ERA Landmark Downtown Visitors Center will host a solo art exhibition featuring Maggie Shane from Artlandish Studios. The exhibition will last for the month of April with live painting demonstrations taking place on April 10th 2-5PM and April 24th 1–3PM. Please join us for the Artist Reception April 24th 5-7PM.

Maggie Shane is a life-long creative soul and painting has become her passion. Artlandish Studios is her creative base in Bozeman Montana. A place to reflect, relax and release the inner artist. Utilizing acrylics and other water-based medium on canvas and paper, she creates representational landscapes and florals. The majesty of nature draws Maggie Shane to the outdoors. The ocean or mountains has always been her refuge. Reliving those times through the process of creating art brings those memories and feelings back to the present. As an outdoor enthusiast, Maggie has worked with the US Ski and Snowboard Youth Nordic Programs for many years. As part of the solo show, each artist selects a charity to receive a percentage of all the sales during the show. She has chosen the Montana Endurance Academy’s Nordic Rocks Program to receive 20% of all sales during the show. Its goal is to provide every school in the Gallatin Valley with Nordic Rock Skis. This will provide children in our community the opportunity to share Gallatin Valley’s passion for outdoor winter activities and a greater appreciation for the places we call home. While many schools provide a “ski day” each year, our hope is by providing the PE teachers with skis to use in their classes, we can integrate the joy and fitness benefits of Nordic skiing and bring the outdoors into their daily PE curriculum.
