Gallatin College Live: Advanced Aviation Training Equipment Demo (ID #37873)
Gallatin College MSU’s Aviation program invites you to check out the Diamond DA 42 Advanced Flight training device made by Frasca. This advanced flight training device features a wrap-around, 220° horizontal x 5’ 7” vertical view outside the simulated aircraft. The detailed moving landscapes, structures, airports and sky create the illusion and feeling of actually flying! This impressive equipment, which is based on actual aircraft flight test data, enables students to transfer a greater amount of learning from the training device to the aircraft, gaining confidence in their flying abilities as they complete their two-year degree. Tune in on Facebook Live from 12:00-12:15pm on March 24th to see how our Aviation program director, Ryan Haskins, and his fellow flight instructors navigate a 10 minute augmented reality flight, includin g extreme weather conditions and emergency situations.
