Protecting 30% of Nature by 2030: a Bozeman Public Meeting (virtual)
The Sierra Club is working with a coalition to protect natural spaces, both urban and wild, in a 30 by 30 campaign - an effort to protect 30% of our lands and waters by 2030. To learn more about this campaign and how we can implement 30 x 30 protection and restoration projects in the Bozeman area, RSVP for our digital public meeting on May 14 from 4:00-5:15 pm. Once you register, you will receive a Zoom meeting link to use at the time of the event. We will be discussing the importance of protecting nature by incorporating traditional ecological knowledge and western science to combat the current climate and extinction crises, as well as how to protect nature amidst the COVID-19 crisis. We want to hear what areas around Bozeman you feel need protection or restoration. From vast wild lands to abandoned urban lots, we'll need to protect, restore and green a lot of spaces, so please bring your ideas!
