Horsemanship course POSTPONED
Join us for four weeks of Horsemanship. Each class is described below by Lain. In addition, this class will be opportunity to network and share ideas, tips and stories. April 1st: General welfare of horse and rider, management of horse on the ground, trailering, trail riding and tips April 8th: Guest speaker. Either a farrier or a veterinarian will discuss horse care, depends on availability. April 16th: Guest speaker. Either a farrier or a veterinarian will discuss horse care, depends on availability. April 23rd: General student discussion of topics not yet covered and videos for a broadening look at the horse industry. Lain will have books and videos available for loan to students. Lain Kay has owned and ridden horses for the past 65 years, both at stables and home care. Experiences have been clinic and regular instruction, certification as a veterinarian tech, completed eventing and jumping, general pleasure classes and as an English rider. Lain regularly rides trails in the english saddle.
