Noon Notes
Angella Ahn, Julie Gosswiller, and Julia Slovarp will perform works by Dvorák, Bloch and more, in collaboration with MSU students Zac Masiba and Hans Swenson. A timeless classic, Dvorák’s American Quartet was composed in 1893 while the Czech composer was living in the US. Ernest Bloch also has an American connection: born in Switzerland, he became a US citizen in 1924, the year he wrote the Nocturnes for piano trio.
This popular chamber music series is from 12:00 - 1:00 PM and is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the Montana Chamber Music Society, the Montana Arts Council and hosted by the Library Foundation.
