The Wind and the Willows' roots lie in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Growing up in the town of Evergreen, Colorado, lead singers Ryen Dalvit and Maren Stubenvoll started writing music in high school, and haven't stopped playing since. From writing tunes in caves and on top of mountains to performing in taprooms, hot springs, and small music festivals, these once upon a time classmates became a songwriting duo joined by some of Bozeman’s most unique and talented musicians. Their original and whimsical harmonies are blended with the talents of ukulele player and vocalist Berette McNaught, banjo player Tommy Diestel, African drummer Sarah Budeski, trumpet player Nick Popiel, fiddler Silas Rea, and stand up bassist Ryan Totman. Excited to be coming up on their two year anniversary, they're happy to have brought a distinct sound to Montana blending brass, strings, and triple harmonies with original music. The Wind and the Willows bring a fresh taste of folk to their new home in Bozeman and thank you for listening.
About Cous:
Cous is the contrivance of singer/songwriter Cassie Wilson. Finding roots in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, her indie-folk sound combines smooth acoustics with lyrical lessons of the past to make for a thoughtful yet easy listening experience. With the release of her debut EP 'Peripatetic' in fall 2019, the Colorado native is set to hit the ground running and embrace the journey ahead.
