Montana Friends of Jung Presents Jungian analyst and author Tom Singer in a program on “The Psyche in the World: How Cultural Complexes Take Possession of Our Souls.” Bozeman Event Space, 14 S. Tracy.  Friday Oct. 25th (7-8:30 p.m.) --- Saturday Oct. 26th (9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.) In this lecture and workshop, Dr. Thomas Singer will explore the multiple levels on which cultural complexes operate—in individuals, in groups (based on race, ethnicity, gender, and religion), in nations, and in the emerging global community.  Participants will be encouraged to identify and share their own experiences of cultural complexes—whether it be in personal experience, clinical examples, or in the emerging national and world upheaval.

Thomas Singer, MD. is a psychiatrist and Jungian psychoanalyst, practicing in San Francisco. His interests include studying the relationship between myth, politics and psyche in cultures around the world. He is current President of National ARAS, an archive of symbolic imagery. 

This program is for therapists and the general public.
