In this full-day workshop, participants will learn effective strategies for successful grant writing and leave with new ideas and actual writing samples that can be incorporated in their next grant proposal. This workshop is designed for beginning and advanced beginning grant-writers, mainly nonprofit staff and volunteers who are writing grants to foundations. (A beginner is someone who has never written a grant; advanced beginners have written a few grants with marginal or no success). If participants have already identified a foundation, they should bring the funder's application guidelines to this training. Participants may also wish to bring a laptop for writing exercises.
