Writer's Night - The Young Guns
Pine Creek Lodge Writers Nights are back! Scott Boehler will be helping bring Pine Creek Lodge these spectacular writers, with events on Thursdays from October-May! May 2nd with some of Livingston’s top Young Guns! Johnathan Hettinger, Nate Howard, Ariety Fried and Joseph Bullington
Johnathan Hettinger moved to Livingston in May to write about the environment. At The Enterprise, he’s written about everything from grizzly bears to a dog with her head stuck in a tire to The Case of the Dead Owls at Sleeping Giant Middle School.
Nate Howard is a photographer who enjoys writing as a form of blood letting. He lives in Livingston and calls home Michigan, Minnesota and Indiana. Nate prefers the tapping of the typewriter when writing, which he believes promotes a more pure streaming writing style, averting those hesitation blues.
Ariety Fried is a writer, painter and occasionally a puppeteer. She's lived in various recesses of this country, trying to explain their histories and myths to her notebooks.
Joseph Bullington grew up in the Smith River watershed near White Sulphur Springs. He prefers to write poetry and polemics while lying in a meadow but is often obliged to do degrading work, like wash dishes or write journalism, to make a living.
